The Video Guest Book Phone is a fun and effortless way to capture heartfelt messages from your guests. Instead of writing in a book, they pick up the phone, leave a video message, and hang up. The phone records automatically, and after the event, we compile all the messages into one long-form video for you to keep forever.
2. How long can we keep the Video Guest Book Phone?
You will receive the phone 2-3 days before your event. After your event, you'll have an additional day to repack the device and send it back using the provided prepaid return label.
3. What’s included with the hire?
Each hire comes with:
- The Video Guest Book Phone (fully charged, ready to go)
- A pre-paid return satchel (easy return process)
- Instructional signage for your guests
- A small LED light to ensure great video quality in low-light settings
- A long-form video of all recorded messages
4. How do we set it up?
Super easy! The phone is completely wireless and pre-set—just turn it on and place it in a high-foot-traffic area. We include a quick instruction card and an LED light if your reception space is dimly lit.
5. What happens after the wedding/event?
Once the phone is returned:
- We compile all the recorded messages into one long-form video
- You’ll receive a private download link within one week of us getting the phone back
- That’s it! You’ll have a priceless keepsake to rewatch forever
6. Can we choose a phone colour?
Yes! We have four colours available:
Black, Cream, Red, and Blue.
You’ll be able to choose your preferred colour when booking (subject to availability).
7. What if I need the phone earlier than 2-3 days before my event?
No worries! If you’re travelling or need extra time, just email us at hello@herestoyou.net.au, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
8. What happens if the phone is lost or damaged?
While it’s rare, in the case of loss or damage, or tampering – fees apply to cover the cost of replacement. You’ll find all the details in our hire agreement when booking.
9. DO YOU SHIP AUSTRALIA-WIDE?
Yes! Here’s To You is officially nationwide. We ship Australia-wide, so no matter where you are, you can have a Video Guest Book Phone at your wedding/event.
10. What happens if we need to cancel or reschedule?
We understand plans can change. Our cancellation and rescheduling policies are flexible—just reach out to us as soon as possible to discuss your options.
11. Any tips for getting the best messages?
- Place the phone somewhere guests will see it! (Not too close to loud music, but not hidden either)
- Get your MC to mention it throughout the night.
- Use the LED light if needed for darker locations.
- Encourage guests to pick it up early in the night, and be sure to come back more than once!
12. Do I need WiFi or power to use the phone?
Nope! The phone is completely wireless and works independently—just turn it on, and it’s ready to go.
13. Can I gift someone the hire of a video guest book phone?
Absolutely! If you’d like friends or family to gift the hire fee, let us know, and we can provide a custom invoice or gift certificate.
14. How does this compare to an audio guest book?
Unlike audio guest books, this captures the voices, the faces, the reactions—everything. It’s not just a message; it’s a moment frozen in time.
15. What if we forget to return the phone on time?
We allow 2-3 days post-event for you to return it using the pre-paid satchel. If it’s late, we’ll send you a reminder—late fees apply if it’s significantly overdue.
